Jennifer Hardy - Managing Partner


Jennifer (Jenny) qualified as a solicitor in 1983 and was the Principal of Bishop Akers & Co. from 1992 until its conversion to an LLP in 2018. Having dealt with all kinds of transactions during her career, she retains a supervisory role and acts in a consultancy capacity to others within the firm.

Philippa Tilbury – Partner


Philippa completed her Master of Laws at the University of Law, Moorgate in May 2016 with distinction and qualified as a solicitor in 2017. She now oversees commercial matters and the day-to-day running of the firm.

Victoria Boyle – Solicitor

Having achieved her undergraduate degree from Oxford, Victoria qualified at Clifford Chance in 2006 and joined the firm in 2021 following some years in-house. She is a calm and competent advocate for all of her clients. 


Debbie Plumer – Legal Assistant


Debbie joined the firm in 2026 to support our commercial team and clients.

Alexandra Clifford-Hardy – Conveyancing Partner


Alex joined the firm in 2011 and her sympathetic and direct approach has helped guide many clients through a wide variety of transactions. 

Tammy James – Legal Assistant


Tammy joined the firm in 2006 and, having assisted on private client matters for many years, has now returned to residential conveyancing to help our house-moving clients.

Rebecca Parker - Solicitor

Having achieved a first in her law degree, Rebecca completed her training with the firm and qualified in 2024. She looks after our probate clients with empathy and pragmatism.

Lorraine Harvey – Private Client Executive  

Following the retirement of our longstanding practitioner, Lorraine joined the firm in 2026 to continue to provide a reassuring presence, primarily to our Wills and LPA clients. 

Sharon Pooley – Paralegal

Sharon joined the firm in 1988 and is a stalwart of the private client department.

Lucy Goode – Legal Assistant
